In an event that literally everyone predicted starting about 5 years ago, Lindsay Lohan posed naked for Playboy this weekend.

There’s no word on when the pictures will be released, and TMZ says this was just the first of a few planned shoots. For the record, after some negotiating, she was paid somewhere between $750,000 and $1,000,000.

She’s already posed naked before of course, in New York magazine (see those pictures here), but this should be even nakeder. Or at least it better be. It beter not that bullshit some celebrities pull where they giggle and cover everything good with sheets or their hands or by standing behind something like this is a god damn Austin Powers movie.

Remember when joining the Mile High Club simply meant doing the deed in an airplane bathroom? Yeah, well that’s so 1997. Today the bar has been raised. Now, if you want to join the Mile High Club, you have to get it on while jumping out of a plane at 13,000 feet.

Who do we have to thank for this escalation in sexual adventurism? Skydiving instructor and pornographic actor Alex Torres, a.k.a. “Voodoo”.

You see, apparently Mr. Torres doesn’t make enough money to make ends meet in the porn biz, so on weekends he moonlights as a skydiving instructor. One day, he had a brilliant idea: why not make a video of people having sex while free-falling at 120 MPH?

Of course, Torres would star in the video, and he got the skydiving company’s secretary—a woman named Hope Howell—to join him in the act. They filmed the event, put the video up on the internet and, it seemed, viral video history would soon be made.

The authorities, however, were not too happy with the stunt. Turns out, it’s illegal to do anything on a plane that might reasonably distract the pilot. And since Torres and Howell started knocking boots before they jumped out of the plane, they may be in some serious hot water. As a result of these impending legal issue, Mr. Torres had to take the video down.

He was also fired from the skydiving company.

When Nancy Grace slipped a nipple on Dancing with the Stars, it caused a huge uproar. I'm not entirely sure why Cinthia Fernandez ended up naked on Bailando por un Sueño, but here she is, completely nude. She starts the dance off in a racy outfit with her toga-clad partner. It's some sort of Roman orgy scene, but with only two people. What follows is less of a dance and more of a mutual strip tease, where Frenandez and her partner pull off each others clothes revealing skimpier and skimpier outfits while they writhe and contort around the stage. By the time she is grinding in his lap while he pours wine over her naked body it's something that even Nomi Malone in Showgirls would find over the top. She's only wearing a G-string and he's in his Speedo and just when you thought it couldn't get any crazier, he whips off her panties and she is standing there, on national television, completely naked. It's something to behold!

Most of the info about her and the show is in Spanish, but from what little I can discern from Google Translate, this seems to be causing a bit of controversy. Also, Fernandez' parents were in the audience, which, wow! This isn't the first time the former Big Brother contestant has gotten naked in public so maybe they're used to it.

The best part is that this doesn't seem to be that out of the ordinary for the show which has aired numbers that were straight up porn in the past. If I remember correctly, the concept for the show is different from ours where a regular person gets to dance with a star. If that's true, that makes Fernandez' partner the luckiest schmo in the whole damn world.

The last time we visited the show, while the camera work did focus much more on the woman's crotch and there was more blatant sexual contact, there wasn't actual nudity. Let's leave it to Fernandez, our new personal hero, for pushing the envelope on a show that regularly is steamier than Red Shoe Diaries. We really need to find a way to get this show on satellite TV or something. It's so unfair that we get Nancy Grace's nasty nipple and they get all of this!

At her Good Morning America shoot today Mistress Minaj rode up wearing an INCREDIBLE outfit, which is making us shake with caffeine/how much we want to explain how MIND-BOGGLING this is. It’s like a Matryoshka doll of win—each layer gets better and better—but it's topped off with this blonde explosion of frizzy hair deliciousness that is part helmet, part dream come true, and ALL a fire hazard.

No secret that Nicki loves her Barbies, but it seems like she is also taking a cue from our girl Jem (of the Holograms variety). Whatever fictional character she’s channeling, girl looks GOOD. Like G-double-O-D. So let’s break it down, because unraveling this kind of stuff is what'll get you Pulitzers. Let us move down, to the trifecta of magic of the plastic hoopskirt, printed leggings, rain boots. (Did you just say rain boots, you ask? We did. Because, in order to entirely smell of the inside of a Mattel factory, one must have their outfit consist entirely of RUBBER AND PLASTIC). She’s got this see-through hoopskirt, which fortunately does not hide the SUPER-HYPER-GRAPHIC leggings she’s wearing, and while we are zooming infinitesimally close...we can’t see the brand. But we’d guess—and this is awesome—they must be the priciest thing she is wearing. We love the fresh-off-the-street, DIY nature of this outfit. Girl brought leopard rain boots to a Giuseppe party, and she is working it like it is her job (which it is). Oooor she's anticipating a torrential downpour with all that water-repellent gear. Either way, we are SO down.

While we can't see the reason why she chose to nom on a drumstick (one hand glitter mic, the other hand a piece of chicken), it probably had something to do with keeping it real. Because that is all we see here. Pure Minaj REALNESS.

Hike Naked: Germany Opens New Nude-Friendly Nature Trails

When "Germany's first hiking trail for nudists" opened on May 29, 2010, near the town of Dankerode, enthusiasm was running high - and not just among those who enjoy braving nature in the buff. Mayor Monika Rauhut hailed the trail as "the latest attraction here in beautiful Wippertal." (See eight new natural wonders of the world.)

The trail was an instant hit, which got us wondering if such a thing might be a good idea in Switzerland, where the issue of nude hiking will soon be taken up by the Supreme Court. The "unofficial spokesperson" for Swiss lovers of the outdoor activity isn't so sure. But Puistola GrottenpÖsch (not his real name) does see some upsides. A sanctioned trail would give many people an opportunity to experience the "bodily freedom" that only hiking in the nude offers - an experience that "fills you with happiness," he says.

In Germany, signs placed around the nude trail area warn: "If you don't want to run into any naked people, stop right here!" The message makes GrottenpÖsch uneasy. "It seems to suggest such a thing would be terrible," he says. "The sign could be taken as more of an encouragement than a deterrent." Nor does he like the idea that such a trail could be seen as a "ghetto" for nude hikers, particularly as such a thing might make people think "that it's obligatory to be clothed everywhere else." GrottenpÖsch recently appeared in court in Appenzell-Ausserrhoden to support a fellow nude hiker who was arrested for practicing the peculiar pastime.

The first year that the German trail - played up initially as a "paradise" for nude hikers - was up and running, there were no legal problems. But there have been some red faces. The brains behind the endeavor is a nearby campground owner who had hoped the novel trail would bring him more paying guests. He no longer wishes his full name to be given in the press, reports German nude-hiking aficionado Horst K. on the Nacktwandern website, which has provided information about the trail since it opened.

Integrating the naturist trail and the family-oriented campsite proved more difficult than anticipated for the owner, whose initial enthusiasm soon gave way to concern. Instead of trying to draw nude hikers as customers, he found himself telling them to give his campsite "a wide berth." (See a brief history of the Appalachian Trail.)

"Yes, there were some problems," Horst K. says. "But we cleared those up, and now things are okay for both sides." As things presently stand, the mood in Harz seems to be one of determined conflict avoidance.

Even among backers of the birthday-suit lifestyle, nude hiking can be a prickly issue. The president of the German naturists' association called naked hikers "neurotics and psychopaths." Fans of the activity, in both Germany and Switzerland, reject the labels flat out.

"We are careful," Puistola GrottenpÖsch explains, citing by way of example an outing he took near Toggenburg (Appenzell, Switzerland), where he came across a group of people celebrating a religious service in a field. GrottenpÖsch conscientiously hid his privates with a scarf, something he carries for just such occasions. "You quickly wrap it around yourself and all conflict is avoided."

We've covered the issue of full body scanners in airports pretty extensively here at Gadling. More and more airports are implementing the security devices and more people are crying foul as they fear that their right to privacy is being disregarded. Now, a creative company has introduced a product to protect travelers' privacy, modesty and genitalia. Flying Pasties (some images potentially NSFW) are rubber pads that you place over your nether regions so that anyone reviewing your image on a full body scanner doesn't see anything that you wouldn't want to expose without first being taken out for dinner.

Flying Pasties aren't stickers or paper cut-outs. They're 2mm thick pieces of rubber that adhere to your skin to cover your breasts and genitalia. According to the manufacturer, when your image appears on the full body scanner monitors, areas of skin covered by the Flying Pasties will not be visible to the security agent.

The pasties come in sets for women including two breast pasties and one bottom and one bottom piece for males. They are emblazoned with text such as "Private" and "Only my husband sees me naked." The company does offer the option to customize the message your pasties.

Flying Pasties sets for women retail for $24.99, but the company is offering an introductory rate of $16.99. Male bottoms are $9.99 and a set for a man and woman is currently $19.99 instead of $29.99.

On March 17, Erykah Badu and a small crew went down to Dealey Plaza to shoot a very naked video for "Window Seat."

Earlier this morning, Pete posted the evidence to DC9: Erykah Badu's "Window Seat" video, the latest informercial for New Amerykah Part Two: The Return of the Ankh, in stores tomorrow. Since its release in the wee small hours Saturday morning, the video -- filmed entirely in Dealey Plaza in one take on March 17 -- has become the subject of much controversy, not only because of where it was shot, but because of Erykah's decision to take it off take it all off (Matt & Kim-style) in front of Grassy Knoll bystanders on her way to the X-marks-the-spot where John Kennedy was shot to death in November '63. Then, in the end, there's a shout-out to The Organization Man himself, as the word "groupthink" spills out onto the asphalt.

Erykah's having fun with the attention as the video transitions from music blogs to news sites. Says she via Twitter, "ive been punished AND rewarded enough times by love and life to dedicate the whole thing to EVOLVING. i am happy. i expected the gossip blog sites to spin it negatively. i expected people to ride with me."

Except, maybe, Dallas City Hall. Schutze's bestest bud Frank Librio just sent an e-mail in which 1500 Marilla Street says no way no how did it approve the video shoot.

All commercial film/video or photo shoot projects must be permitted through the City of Dallas Office of Special Events/Film Coordinators. The production company that produced this video never contacted the City to seek the proper permits. This is known as "guerilla filming" where production companies circumvent the proper permitting procedures and usually shoot these scenes in one take knowing that if they are discovered they would face arrest and/or penalties.

Is nudity on TV acceptable at lunchtime?

Viewers have complained about a new Channel 4 programme that features full frontal nudity at 12.30pm.

Life Class: Today's Nude features different male and female models each day and encourages budding artists to sketch along at home as a tutor explains drawing and painting techniques.

TV regulator Ofcom has received complaints from viewers who have claimed it is adult viewing and not suitable to be shown at lunchtime.

Alan Kane, the artist behind the programme, has defended it, saying: "Because it is educational and non-sexualised nudity, Channel 4 didn't have any concerns with it at all."

So, is the show really about educating viewers about the finer points of art or simply a ploy to increase ratings over lunchtime?

It certainly wouldn't be the first time that Channel 4 has courted controversy with its programming. Previous shows including a live autopsy, Derren Brown's Russian Roulette stunt and a film about the assassination of George W Bush have all hit the headlines. However, all of these shows came after the watershed.

Have we really moved on so much in our attitudes to nudity on screen that this type of show is now perfectly acceptable to go out during the day?

And more importantly, given the choice of Jane McDonald waxing lyrical about her hormones on ITV's Loose Women or tasteful shots of a male or female nude model on Channel 4 - which would you choose?

Though she did break her no-nudity clause, all that is shown in the movie is her backside. What is even more frustrating is that she broke her clause for a movie that tanked at the box office. I guess that’s what happens when you go back on your own principles.

She responded to this by saying, “I won’t say that I won’t do nudity for other people’s benefit. It has nothing to do with other people, it’s just what I’m comfortable with.” Regardless if Ms. Diaz is for or against on-screen nudity, the public has yet to see more than she was willing to offer in There’s Something About Mary - at least on film.

Though Ms. Fisher seemed to pose nude on the cover of the geekzine Wired, she has been known to arogantly flaunt her no-nudity clause. She told The Insider, “Well, I wouldn’t do anything I wouldn’t be proud to show my parents.” That’s nice, she still respects her parents, but where does that leave her adoring fans? Apparently she has selfishly decided she owes her parents a lot more than she owes us.

Nudists Save Lingerie Bowl

Well, those prudes in Tampa got their way, and the Lingerie Bowl won't be tainting their apparently pure city. Instead a nudist resort in Pasco County stepped in and saved the day. The joint is appropriately called the Caliente Clothing Optional Resort, which should fair well for the Miami Caliente team.

The Caliente will play the Tampa Bay Breeze January 30. The winner will then play either the L.A. Temptations or the Phoenix Scorch during the Super Bowl's halftime in a live pay-per-view program.

No word on whether on-site spectators will be able to watch in the nude, but we're hoping not, because we just got the worse mental image of a nude stadium wave ever.

Facebook nudity policy angers nursing moms

Rules say no nipples, but mothers contend breast-feeding is not obscene

SEATTLE - Web-savvy moms who breast-feed are irate that social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace restrict photos of nursing babies. The disputes reveal how the sites' community policing techniques sometimes struggle to keep up with the booming number and diversity of their members.

Facebook began as a site just for college kids, but now it is an online home for 140 million people from all over the world.

Among the new faces of Facebook are women like Kelli Roman, 23, who last year posted a photo of herself nursing one of her two children.

One day, she logged on to find the photo missing. When she pressed Facebook for an explanation, she got form e-mails in return.

Facebook bars people from uploading anything "obscene, pornographic or sexually explicit" — a policy that translates into a ban on pictures depicting certain amounts of exposed flesh.

Roman responded by starting a Facebook group called "Hey, Facebook, breast-feeding is not obscene!"

"There is nothing about bottle-feeding a child that has to be discreet," said Roman, who lives in Fallbrook, California, in an interview. "With breast-feeding, it should be the exact same way."

Today the group — part petition, part message board, part photo-sharing hub — has more than 97,600 members.

One of them, Stephanie Muir of Ottawa, was new to Facebook when she stumbled across the group last year. Muir, a mother of five, does volunteer work related to public health and breast-feeding and said the issue is important to her.

"I think it's time we all get over this notion that women's breasts are dangerous and harmful for children to see," she said. So she organized a Facebook protest last weekend against the site's policies, which she believes are arbitrarily enforced and discriminate against women.

A virtual ‘nurse-in’
Muir said more than 11,000 people participated in the group's "virtual nurse-in" by swapping out their regular profile pictures on Facebook and uploading ones depicting breast-feeding.

At Facebook's headquarters in Palo Alto, California, 23-year-old mom Heather Farley, who was visiting from her home in Provo, Utah, led a real-world nurse-in to complement the online event.

About 10 women showed up to breast-feed their babies outside the front door, drawing attention from local media if not Facebook employees, who were scarce on that Saturday after Christmas.

A member for almost four years, Farley has nearly 400 friends on Facebook, a network she'd be hard-pressed to replicate if she moved to a smaller site with more lenient photo policies. She uses Facebook more than e-mail to stay in touch with far-flung high school and college friends. She especially likes to check out pictures of their babies and share photos of hers. But with a 9-month-old, "it's almost hard to get a picture of me not nursing," she said.

This fall, Farley changed her profile photo to one that showed her breast-feeding. Someone probably objected, because Facebook deleted it. It, like MySpace, generally relies on members to point out when others break the rules.

Facebook spokesman Barry Schnitt said the company's guidelines regarding exposed flesh allow most breast-feeding photos. However, Facebook draws the line at a visible nipple or areola, he said. Facebook also nixes pictures showing the gluteal cleft.

Facebook doesn't generally go looking for nudity, but it does respond quickly when someone on the site flags another person's photo as inappropriate. Schnitt said the policies were instituted years ago, when Facebook was much smaller, but they reflect common practices on mainstream Web sites.

John Palfrey, a Harvard Law School professor who specializes in Internet issues, called Facebook a victim of its own success.

"As we wrap more and more of our lives into a single environment on the Web, the feeling that civil liberties ought to be protected there continues to grow," Palfrey said.

Online communities are still private ventures
But it's really just that — a feeling. Online hangouts might simulate a public place, but they're still private Web sites where the company is king, not the Constitution or the myriad state laws that apply to breast-feeding outside the home.

News Corp.-owned MySpace, which prohibits nudity, also has sparked online protests over photos taken down of breast-feeding mothers. A company spokeswoman did not return messages seeking comment.

One contrast is LiveJournal, a popular blogging network, which made an exception for nursing in its no-nudity policy. The rule came in response to feedback from users and an advisory board comprised of Internet scholars.

Cambridge University magazine prints topless page three picture of student

The student, from Homerton College, who was not named, was photographed in a black lacy thong and stockings straddling one of the city's historic bridges.

She agreed to pose for the latest edition of Vivid Magazine, which is published by a group of students once a term and has a circulation of 5,000.

It also has a website featuring a video of women sitting in a changing room and then playing football.

The page three photo shoot was done on Clare College bridge, which goes over the River Cam and is visited by thousands of tourists each year.

It is the first time a student has appeared topless in a University publication and it has caused an outcry.

One student from King's College said: "I can't believe she agreed to pose for the magazine. Everyone has been talking about it. I'm sure she must really regret it now."

Another student, from Clare College, who did not want to be named, added: "Lots of students and professors have seen this. It's a very risky thing to do when you are studying at one of the top universities in the country."

The magazine is distributed to all the university colleges. It has featured "page three" girls before but none have been as explicit. The magazine is largely constituted of comment pieces of a political and satirical nature.

The model, who is pictured anonymously in the magazine, has declined to comment on reactions to the photo. Vivid's editors also refused to offer a statement.

The university's press office was unavailable for comment.
