Look away dad! Hulk Hogan is embarrassed by daughter Brooke's naked photoshoot and uses his hands to cover up her modesty

By Nadia Mendoza

From: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/

Most children are embarrassed when their fathers dance awkwardly after Christmas dinner or bring out the baby pictures for potential suitors.

And so it's rare for it to be the other way around, with Hulk Hogan left red-faced by daughter Brooke.

The blonde model, 23, posed in a provocative shoot for a PETA campaign, lying naked behind bars as part of the Women In Cages exhibition.

The professional wrestler, real name Terry Gene Bollea, did what any protective parent would do and placed his hands over her body to cover up her modesty.

Brooke later followed in his footsteps and pretended to cover her curves, but it was too little too late.

It was quite the present for birthday boy Hulk, who was celebrating his 58th year at the event held at Cafeina Lounge in Miami, Florida.

His wife Jennifer McDaniel also attended the portrait unveiling, alongside Katrina Campins - the winner of the first US Apprentice series - and Argentinian model Ines Rivero.

In the black and white photographs, the 23-year-old attempts to claw her way out of a cage while being squeezed into the small contraption.

While the campaign is to promote cruelty against animals, it's hard to focus on anything but Brooke in the sizzling pictures.

It's refreshing to see her feminine lines in an industry that usually relies on stick thin models.

She joins a long list of celebrities who have stripped for the organisation, including Pamela Anderson, Natalie Imbruglia and George Clooney's ex Elisabetta Canalis.

The trio were treated like VIPs and tucked into an enormous cake with Hulk's name in silver lettering balanced on the top.

This week, Brooke revealed she has been cast in a new project for the silver screen, but remained tight-lipped on the name of the production.

She wrote on Twitter: 'Gettin the abs in check for a new kick ass role! #newmovie'

PETA To Sponsor Lindsay Lohan’s Rehabs

Lindsay Lohan is broke. She’s also in need of some serious rehab. What’s a girl to do?

Go vegan, of course. If she sticks with it during the duration of her three-month stint at California’s Betty Ford Clinic, PETA will cover the bulk of her expenses and throw $10,000 her way. Should she stick with the diet for a year afterwards, she’ll receive another $10,00

PETA President Ingrid Newkirk told the LA Times, “Lindsay Lohan is the most visible example of a real addict, and if she can conquer her addiction to meat and cheese, absolutely anyone can. If she does, she’ll not only save animals but save her own health, and she’ll be an example to the millions of people who watch her every step.”

PETA Asks Phish to Change Name to 'Sea Kittens'

Quickly, for relevance purposes: people who listen to a lot of Phish travel frequently, and Phish's new green travel blog is known as "Traveling Light" (lawsuit forthcoming, natch.) With that out of the way, let's get down to the nitty gritty (and get this show on the road): PETA spokespeople have asked Phish to change their name ... to the "Sea Kittens."

Is this the stupidest thing ever and a blatant publicity stunt by an increasingly irritating organization hell-bent on punching everyone in America squarely in the eye? Most likely. Hence, a letter issued to media outlets!

The letter, addressed to Trey Anastasio, Jon Fishman, Mike Gordon and Page McConnell, says the request is an attempt to gain empathy for fish, "because few people are aware that fish are actually smart animals with personalities."

"For example, they communicate and develop relationships with one another, feel pain when injured (their lips are particularly sensitive, and they use them like we use our fingers), show affection by gently rubbing against other fish, and even grieve when other fish they like die," the letter continues.
OhmysweetGod. COME ON. I mean, really. REALLY? This is what it's come to now that Michael Vick has served his prison sentence and Phil Spector is no longer allowed to wear dead squirrels on his head? Harrassing a hippie-trust-funded jam band that doesn't seek in any shape or form to take empathy away from actual fish?

It's not even annoying anymore, it's just freaking sad.

NBC bans PETA's Super Bowl ad

Animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals claims NBC is refusing to air its rather provocative Super Bowl ad.

The PETA ad "Veggie Love" has lingerie models frolicking amid broccoli and pumpkins with a tagline saying that "Studies Show Vegetarians Have Better Sex."

PETA says NBC's vp advertising standards Victoria Morgan rejected the ad because it "depicts a level of sexuality exceeding our standards."

Adds an NBC spokesperson: "The ad was rejected because it did not conform with our standards."

This means NBC is refusing to air an ad promoting a healthy diet, yet Budweiser will be the top Bowl advertiser for the ninth year running.

Of course, for PETA, being banned is arguably just as effective publicity as NBC actually airing its Super Bowl ad -- and a heckuva lot cheaper, too. Sources say NBC suspects the ad was deliberately created to be rejected by the network ("they knew this would never fly," one insider says).

Video and NBC's list of suggested edits after the jump.

PETA asked NBC what it would take for the commercial to air. NBC suggested the following cuts be made:

:12- :13- licking pumpkin

:13- :14- touching her breast with her hand while eating broccoli

:19- pumpkin from behind between legs

:21- rubbing pelvic region with pumpkin

:22- screwing herself with broccoli (fuzzy)

:23- asparagus on her lap appearing as if it is ready to be inserted into vagina

:26- licking eggplant
