One of the facets of Mortal Kombat that makes it so great, so memorable, and so controversial, is the fatality kill moves that dot the end of matches. As a boy of nigh a quarter century, I love to see spines ripped out of still breathing bodies and heads removed from necks. That's just kind of my thing right now.
And, if you and I are of the same breed, then you're going to enjoy this next montage I am scooping onto your plate. It is a 20-minute video featuring all of Mortal Kombat's fatalities from every single game (except Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe and the 2011 MK). I had to pop a bag of popcorn. T'was glorious.
Not only is this a brilliant montage of the most violent proportions, it is a fantastic little trip down nostalgia boulevard. I particularly like watching Baraka puncture the shit out of an unwitting foe. Or when Jax uses his inhuman strength to manually amputate a few arms. Which brings you the grins?
