Roger Rabbit 2 On The Way?

Zemeckis hints to Roger's big-screen return.

July 23, 2009 - At the end of Zemeckis' first trip to Comic-Con, where he presented some very impressive 3D footage from A Christmas Carol, the director discussed the possible return of a popular 2D character, Roger Rabbit.

Following the clip screening, during the Q & A, Zemeckis was asked if he plans to revisit Toontown for a sequel.

"I can neither confirm nor deny", he said, three times, each time with more of a wink in his voice. He then clarified that, "if it [the sequel] ever does happen, the 2D animated characters will remain in 2D" animation, but other components might be in 3D.
