South Side Automotive Seeks 800+hp from GT-R

SSP Intake Manifold

SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota — South Side Performance has released details on the first custom intake manifold for the Nissan GT-R, saying the upgrade is one part in getting Godzilla to make 820 horsepower.

The 820RS intake manifold from South Side Performance offers a claimed improvement of 15 hp and 28 pound-feet of torque on its own.

SSP says the intake manifold will help GT-R owners make up to 820 hp when combined with the company's turbo upgrade and other modifications. The intakes are machined to work with the stock throttle bodies, but have a wall thick enough to allow buyers to move up to larger throttles later.

Buyers can choose to have their manifold finished in either machined aluminum or black powder coating. SSP has set the price at $2,699.
