2010 Jaguar XFR
If you caught the third installment of our 2009 Detroit Auto Show preview earlier today, you already know that we were expecting to see the debut of the 2010 Jaguar XFR. Well thanks to some website we've never heard of, photos and details on the new Jaguar super sedan are now available.
As expected, it's powered by a new supercharged 5.0-liter V8. The slightly larger engine is rated to produce 510-horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque which puts it right up there with the BMW M5, Cadillac CTS-V and Mercedes-Benz E63, at least in terms of horsepower. Jag says it's enough power to get the XFR from 0-to-60 in 4.7-seconds while the top speed is electronically limited to 155mph.
Like most cars of its ilk, the Jaguar XF-R gets a revised front fascia, extended sills, a small decklid spoiler and quad exhaust tips. A set of 20-inch are standard as well. Interior upgrades are limited to new dashboard trim, sport seats and a sport steering wheel. Expect to see the Jaguar XFR in dealers this spring.
