DKR RS6- when 580hp is not enough

MECHERNICH, Germany — It's been at least a week or two since we've written about a German tuner putting the wrench to Audi's superwagon, the RS6. So let's hear it for DKR Tuning, which offers upgrade packages starting at $2,000.

DKR tweaks the twin-turbo 5.0-liter V10 to produce 651 horsepower and 561 pound-feet of torque, primarily through optimization of the ECU software. That's enough to kick top speed up to 202 mph.

DKR also has applied a modest exterior body kit, dressing things up with 20-inch Cargraphic RS alloy wheels and low-profile performance tires. Ride height has been lowered and handling enhanced through the use of H&R sport springs.
