Behold! The Nintendo Entertainment System Coffee Table

Behold! The Nintendo Entertainment System Coffee Table

A man named Matt has built a coffee table. It is designed to look like the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is awesome.

Here is how it compares size-wise to an actual NES. The coffee table is bigger!

Behold! The Nintendo Entertainment System Coffee Table

This is more than an enormous Nintendo Entertainment System. It is an enormous NES with a fully functionally, jumbo NES controller.

"Opening the lid reveals the storage for the controller, or even can store remote controls and game controllers in there for easy access/storage," Matt tells Kotaku. "The controller ports are actually two power outlets so I can plug in my laptop to charge."

It is also possible to open up the back of the NES coffee table for more available storage space. Check out a video of the coffee table in action here.

It’s Wednesday, and being the middle of the week, we like to offer some nsfwishness to those who find themselves mindlessly sifting through blogs from their office cubicle, forgetting they are at work, forgetting they are supposed to be working.

Cut to: Boss walks by.

Schwartzman! What the fuck are you looking at!?… See me in my office.

Reggie Bush to Be Stripped of His Heisman Trophy

A report on Yahoo Sports says the ex-USC running back will become the first Heisman Trophy winner to lose the award in the trophy's 75-year history.

The Heisman Trophy Trust has been investigating improper benefits Bush, now a member of the NFL's New Orleans Saints, allegedly received during his Heisman-Trophy season in 2005. Sources tell Yahoo the inquiry will result in the organization vacating Bush's award and leaving the 2005 Heisman Trophy vacant. (See why USC kids are paying for Bush's mistakes.)

The Heisman investigation follows a separate NCAA investigation into Bush and the USC program. The NCAA found Bush should have been ineligible for much of the 2004 and all of the 2005 seasons due to gifts, money and other benefits the collegiate star received.

USC has already returned their copy of Bush's award on instruction from university president C.L. Max Nikias. Despite the gesture, the NCAA lowered the boom on USC for the violations, vacating 13 of the football program's wins and banning the school from postseason bowl play for two years. Festo's flying AirPenguin robot induces daydreaming beyond the sea (video)

By: Richard Lai

Penguins. Such graceful creatures. Mommy never told us why these birds don't fly, but here's proof that this won't be a concern for our little 'uns. What you're looking at is the Festo AirPenguin's rare appearance outside its German labs -- the Gotengo-esque airship is at The Gadget Show Live in Birmingham, UK this week. Sure, this baby's a bit old, but being up close and personal with it is way more sensational than watching the mere 40-second-long segment from last time, and at least we now know it's the real deal. Video after the break.
