She (Allegedly) Just Wants To Have Sex With A Hermann Park Statue. The Odd Thing Is, The Statue In Question Is Not Sam Houston

Objectum Sexuality from sergio on Vimeo.
Via Swamplot, we get this video, about a woman who really, really really likes a statue in Hermann Park.

It purports to be a documentary, complete with plummy British narrator, of someone with "object sexuality," a condition where people end up loving the Eiffel Tower or marrying the Berlin Wall.

The woman in the above video loves the Pioneer Memorial in Hermann Park (Motto: "Oh, that's what that thing is called?") She first rubs herself all over to a video of it, then cuddles with it in person.

"I think I just came," she says in excitement as she walks up to it.

And as she sits on it, she mentions how she'd like to have sex with it, telling it "I know you're really big but trust me, I can handle it. If you're gentle." (We're pretty sure the memorial would let her take the lead.)

Spoof, deranged person, or just another day in Hermann Park? We report, you decide.

Polanski arrested in connection with sex charge

(CNN) -- Filmmaker Roman Polanski has been arrested on an arrest warrant stemming from a decades-old sex charge, Swiss police said Sunday.

Roman Polanski attends a film premiere in Paris, France, in June 2009.

Roman Polanski attends a film premiere in Paris, France, in June 2009.

The Academy Award-winning director pleaded guilty in 1977 to a single count of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, acknowledging he had sex with a 13-year-old girl, but fled the United States before he could be sentenced. U.S. authorities issued a warrant for his arrest in 1978.

He was taken into custody trying to enter Switzerland on Saturday, Zurich police said.

Polanski, 76, has lived in France for decades to avoid being arrested if he enters the U.S. He declined to collect his Academy Award for Best Director in person when he won it for "The Pianist" in 2003.

He was en route to the Zurich Film Festival, which is holding a tribute to him, when he was arrested by Swiss authorities, the festival said.

Polanski was nominated for best director Oscars for "Tess" and "Chinatown," and for best writing for "Rosemary's Baby," which he also directed.

"Roman Polanski, who is one of the greatest film directors of all time, would have been honored for his life's work in Zurich today," the film festival said in a statement.

"However yesterday, on Saturday, he was taken into custody while attempting to enter Switzerland due to a request by U.S. authorities in connection with an arrest warrant from 1978."

The Swiss Justice Ministry said Polanski was put "in provisional detention." But whether he can be extradited to the United States "can be established only after the extradition process judicially has been finalised," a ministry spokesman said in an e-mail.

"It is possible to appeal at the federal penal court of justice against an arrest warrant in view to extradition as well as against an extradition decision," the spokesman wrote. "Their decisions can be taken further to the federal court of justice."

Polanski was accused of plying a 13-year-old girl with champagne and a sliver of a quaalude tablet and performing various sex acts, including intercourse, with her during a photo shoot at actor Jack Nicholson's house. He was 43 at the time.

Nicholson was not at home, but his girlfriend at the time, actress Anjelica Huston, was.

According to a probation report contained in the filing, Huston described the victim as "sullen."

"She appeared to be one of those kind of little chicks between -- could be any age up to 25. She did not look like a 13-year-old scared little thing," Huston said.

She added that Polanski did not strike her as the type of man who would force himself on a young girl.

"I don't think he's a bad man," she said in the report. "I think he's an unhappy man."

Polanski pleaded guilty to a single count of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.

There have been repeated attempts to settle the case over the years, but the sticking point has always been Polanski's refusal to return to attend hearings.

Prosecutors have consistently argued that it would be a miscarriage of justice to allow a man to go free who "drugged and raped a 13-year-old child."

Polanski's lawyers tried earlier this year to have the charges thrown out, but a Los Angeles judge rejected the request.

In doing so, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Peter Espinoza left the door open to reconsider his ruling if Polanski shows up in court.

Espinoza also appeared to acknowledge problems with the way Polanski's case was handled years ago.

According to court documents, Polanski, his lawyer and the prosecutor thought they'd worked out a deal that would spare Polanski from prison and let the young victim avoid a public trial.

But the original judge in the case, who is now dead, first sent the director to maximum-security prison for 42 days while he underwent psychological testing. Then, on the eve of his sentencing, the judge told attorneys he was inclined to send Polanski back to prison for another 48 days.

Polanski fled the United States for France, where he was born.

In the February hearing, Espinoza mentioned a documentary film that depicts backroom deals between prosecutors and a media-obsessed judge who was worried his public image would suffer if he didn't send Polanski to prison.

"It's hard to contest some of the behavior in the documentary was misconduct," said Espinoza.

But he declined to dismiss the case entirely.

Legal experts said such a ruling would have been extremely rare.

Polanski's victim is among those calling for the case to be tossed out.

Samantha Geimer filed court papers in January saying, "I am no longer a 13-year-old child. I have dealt with the difficulties of being a victim, have surmounted and surpassed them with one exception.

"Every time this case is brought to the attention of the Court, great focus is made of me, my family, my mother and others. That attention is not pleasant to experience and is not worth maintaining over some irrelevant legal nicety, the continuation of the case."

Geimer, now 45, married and a mother of three, sued Polanski and received an undisclosed settlement. She long ago came forward and made her identity public -- mainly, she said, because she was disturbed by how the criminal case had been handled.

Following Espinoza's ruling earlier this year, Geimer's lawyer, Larry Silver, said he was disappointed and that Espinoza "did not get to the merits and consider the clear proof of both judicial and prosecutorial corruption."

He argued in court that had "Mr. Polanski been treated fairly" his client would not still be suffering because of publicity almost 32 years after the crime.

Polanski was arrested two days after one of his wife's killers died.

The director's pregnant wife, actress Sharon Tate, and four others were butchered by members of the Manson "family" in August 1969. Polanski was filming in Europe at the time.

By her own admission, Susan Atkins held the eight-months-pregnant Tate down as she pleaded for mercy, stabbing the 26-year-old actress 16 times.

Atkins, 61, died Thursday. She had been suffering from terminal brain cancer.

A-Rod At It Again In T.O., This Time Groping Female Officers

arod-grops-officer-11

Total Pro Sports - Toronto seems to be a hot spot for Alex Rodriguez. Last time he made headlines in the great Canadian city, it was for his extra-marital affairs with a hot blond at a local strip club. This time he stayed away from the titty bars, and even the hot blond (not Kate Hudson or Madonna), as it was a dark-haired Toronto police officer that he had his eyes on.

During last night's game between the Jays and the New York Yankees, a pop-up off the bat of Lyle Overbay was drifting towards the stands on the third base side. ARod made his way towards the area in an attempt to record the out.

Although he could not get a piece of the ball as it trailed off into the stands, he did manage to get himself a piece of something. That something was one of the city of Toronto's finest (cops, that is).

Reaching the warning track, he lunged, but missed the ball, unintentionally groping the female police officer sitting against the stands – not once but twice. For the first time in years, Alex Rodriguez was cheered good-naturedly at the Rogers Centre.

"I'm just glad she didn't read me my rights," Rodriguez said. "Only me. My God, how embarrassing." [Toronto Star]

Even more embarrassing than facing the fans after admitting to using steroids? We doubt that.

ARod and Johnny Damon would end up checking on the woman in uniform and she would be alright. No word yet, but it doesn't seem like Rodriguez took her out afterward for some drinks to celebrate the 10-5 victory at The Brass Rail (a fine Toronto strip club).

Here is how it all unfolded.

Man guilty of groping Minnie Mouse at Disney

John William Moyer will face sentencing for groping Minnie Mouse at Disney World

Man Guilty of Groping Minnie Mouse

John William Moyer, 60, of Cressona, Penn., left, wipes the ink from his hands after he was convicted and sentenced Tuesday of misdemeanor battery charge for groping of a woman playing Minnie Mouse at Walt Disney World. (GEORGE SKENE, ORLANDO SENTINEL / August 11, 2009)

A jury this morning found John William Moyer guilty of groping of a woman playing Minnie Mouse at Walt Disney World.

Moyer, 60, of Pennsylvania, was convicted of misdemeanor battery for the June incident this morning.

Judge Wayne Shoemaker imposed the sentence this morning.

"The verdict reinforces the fact that this type of behavior is not acceptable," said Walt Disney World spokeswoman Zoraya Suarez. Disney officials also banned Moyer from entering any of the company's resorts, Suarez said.

According to the sentence, Moyer has to write a letter of apology to the victim, Brittney Duncan McGoldrick. He also is under supervised probation for 180 days, must complete 50 hours of community service within four months, pay $1,000 in court costs and submit to a mental evaluation with treatment, if necessary.

Before sentencing, Moyer's adult son spoke on his behalf.

"He's a good man," Emory Moyer said. "He's a nice guy."

Emory Moyer also described his father as a man who would never touch a woman inappropriately.

Later, Moyer spoke briefly to the judge.

"I am innocent, I am not guilty of the crimes that I've been charged with," Moyer said.

Moyer has no criminal history and has never received a speeding ticket, he said. This was his first offense.

McGoldrick told prosecutors at the Orange County Courthouse on Monday she had pushed Moyer away from her after the incident.

"My first reaction I just pushed him down. I was doing everything I could to get his hands off my breasts," Duncan McGoldrick said.

Jurors began their deliberations Monday afternoon.

"We're just hoping for the only fair and just verdict in this case, which is 'not guilty'," said Zahra S. Umansky, Moyer's attorney.

Moyer had been booked into Orange County Jail on June 7 and was released on $1,000 bail.

Husband Hired Wife's Rapist off Craigslist for Sexual Fantasy

North Carolina Man Jailed While Police Hunt for Craigslist Rapist

By SARAH NETTER

Police in North Carolina are hunting for a man they believe raped a woman at knifepoint. The assailant, police say, was hired by the woman's husband through Craigslist to feed his sexual fantasy.

"She was definitely not a willing participant," Kannapolis Police Capt. Chuck Adams told ABCNews.com today. "The children were in a bedroom across the hallway, maybe 15 to 20 feet away."

Adams said the woman's husband Travis -- ABCNews.com is withholding his last name to protect his wife's identity because she is a sex crime victim -- responded to two Craigslist sex advertisements asking if the men would be willing to rape his wife, Adams said.

Travis, 25, has been charged with first-degree rape, two counts of first-degree sexual offense and attempted first-degree sexual offense. Adams said that even though Travis did not rape his wife, the laws allow for him to be charged with the crime for allegedly soliciting someone else to carry it out.

The Craigslist ads, Adams said, did not advertise rape-for-hire, but one of the men agreed.

Adams said the advertisements, listed in Craigslist's oft-criticized "adult services" section were "very lewd." Adams declined to detail specifics of Travis' solicitation, but said he requested the would-be rapist to "come in in a way that would use a scare tactic."

"We believe it was part of a fantasy he had," Adams said.

In the early morning hours of May 31, Adams said, the hired assailant woke the 28-year-old mother of two and raped her at knifepoint while Travis watched. She called 911 around 2:34 a.m.

Now police are closing in on their rape suspect. Adams said that with the help of the Charlotte division of Secret Service computer experts, they have a "good lead" on a suspect who lives in the area.

Adams said that other than the emotional trauma of knowing her husband solicited her rape, the woman suffered no physical injuries. Though the rapist threatened to cut her with the knife, he never did, Adams said. The woman was treated and released from an area hospital after a forensic exam.

The woman, when reached by phone at her home, declined to comment, saying "I'm not talking to anybody."

Travis, who was employed by a Charlotte-based construction company, is being held at the Cabarrus County Detention Center in Concord, N.C., on a $200,000 bond. Court records do not list an attorney. He is next due in court June 30.

Adams said the couple's children, ages 1 and 4, were asleep at the time of the attack and there is no indication they knew anything was wrong until police showed up. The children are in their mother's custody.

Latest Craigslist Controversy

Travis' alleged rape-for-hire is the latest black mark against Craigslist, one of the world's most popular online collection of classified advertisements.

In the wake of the arrest of Boston med student Philip Markoff for the alleged murder of a woman he met through a Craigslist advertisement, the site agreed to better monitor sex-related ads and change it's "erotic services" category to "adult services."

Markoff, dubbed the so-called "Craigslist Killer," has also been accused of robbing two other women he met through sex ads on Craigslist, one in Boston and one in Rhode Island.

With pressure from as many as 40 state attorneys general, Craigslist also agreed to ban nude or graphic images, but a quick scan of the Charlotte-area listings shows several such listings as well as hourly rates for sexual services.

Jennifer Wilson, program director for Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network's National Sexual Assault Hotline told ABCNews.com that she had never heard of a case where a husband hired someone to rape his wife.

Wilson said consent means the difference between fantasy and crime.

"Getting married does not mean you are consenting to any type of sex for the rest of your life," she said.

Being raped by a spouse or intimate partner, she said, can have serious psychological effects for a woman who enterered marriage with feelings of love and trust.

"When that trust is violated, I think that has some very serious implications," she said.

Women who are raped by their spouses tend to have severe feelings of isolation and depression and tend to be less likely to get help, simply based on their relationship with the attacker.

'Pastor' took girl, 10, to bed

By Tobi Cohen, THE CANADIAN PRESS

MONTREAL - A self-described pastor who hoped his "marriage" to a 10-year-old girl he took to bed would convince a judge to acquit him on a sexual assault charge was sentenced to five years in prison on Monday.

Daniel Cormier, who was convicted last October following a lengthy trial, has a maximum of 49 months left behind bars because of time already served.

"I would say that there's no remorse," Crown prosecutor Anne-Andree Charette said outside the courtroom. "He just tried to find justifications."

The Crown wanted the maximum prison term of 10 years, while a lawyer Cormier hired for sentencing arguments recommended between 30 months and four years behind bars, given Canadian jurisprudence..

The 57-year-old head of the now defunct Church of Downtown Montreal, who also once ran for mayor, has maintained he is not a pedophile and that he did nothing wrong as the pair were married during a ceremony at his obscure evangelical church in 1999.

Court heard he was lovestruck for the youngster.

During the trial, Quebec court Judge Sylvie Durand announced she would not hear testimony supporting his marriage defence.

The victim, who is now 19, testified she was too young to grasp the idea of marriage. She denied ever entering a union with him, but said she remembered the sexual abuse in vivid detail.

During the proceedings, court heard that Cormier's church catered to the marginalized. Starting in 1993, he took the girl's mother, a recovering junkie and prostitute, and her two daughters under his wing.

Relatives described Cormier as a father figure to the girls who were often invited to stay with him or go on vacation with him and other church members.

It was during such holidays that fellow parishioners became suspicious of Cormier's relationship with the victim.

He was arrested in 2003 after a social worker notified police but the case progressed slowly through the courts as numerous motions were filed by both the Crown and Cormier, who represented himself at the trial.

When it came time for the victim to testify, she agreed to do so only via video link from an adjacent room and Cormier was barred from cross-examining her or her mother.

He declined to submit to the court an approved list of questions and rested his case without calling further witnesses or taking the stand himself.

At the time of his conviction, two additional charges of sexual touching and invitation to touching were dropped.

Cormier is currently on trial in another case involving a 16-year-old girl and could face additional jail time if convicted.

The alleged crimes, which Cormier denies committing, also date back to his time as a pastor.
