An inaugural offering from two craft beer gurus who honed their expertise working at Cambridge Common, CBC's a just-opened mecca to artisanal suds stocking 400+ brews that's
decked out w/ exposed wood beams, an 8-seat dining room table, and authentic brewery signs, also the M. Night Shyamalan movie Mel Gibson
really wanted to star in. Organized by coast/region, choice brewers/suds run the gamut from New England (Berkshire Cabin Fever, People's Pint Oatmeal, Belfast Bay Lobster Red Ale) and the East (Troegs DreamWeaver, Ithaca Flower Power), to America's Middle (Boulder Hazed and Infused, Nebraska Black Betty) and the West (Uinta Crooked Line Tilted Smile, The Bruery Mischief), along with a healthy lineup of heavy-on-the-Belgian/Trappist imports like Rochefort 10 and Scotland's Brew Dog Punk, which you should feel lucky about drinking. Well, do you? There's also
a solid selection of single cans, beer-related board games, books, brewing kits, stemwear, and even a shelf o' snacks (mustards, hot sauces, spreads), not to mention a Pinot-tilting wine wall, which surprisingly no one tells to shut the hell up.
And if that's not enough, CBC also rocks two-a-week tastings on Thur/Sat, is kicking around the idea of an accompanying restaurant/brew pub down the road, and will even fill hard-to-find custom requests, which should tell them a lot about you, when they're forced to explain that Sparks no longer exists.
