GM Delaying CTS Coupe until Summer 2010
With product delays and cancellations the norm as of late, it's no real surprise that General Motors has now officially postponed the introduction of its Cadillac CTS Coupe until next summer, which had been rumored for some time. Rather than deliver the striking coupe to its already swamped dealerships later this year, GM spokeswoman Joanne Krell now says the automaker will wait until summer 2010 -- when it believes the market will have recovered enough to add the two-door model to the Caddy lineup. "We made a few changes to the overall portfolio," says Krell. "Obviously we are in a challenging economic time, and one of the changes is to move the coupe back a year. Instead of coming out this summer, it will come out next summer." |
