Tuesday Tunes Returns! - The Derek Trucks Band

I've raved about these guys for years. He plays in the Allman Brothers, was part of Clapton's touring band, opened and shared the stage most recently with Santana - but where he really shines is with his own band. In my not-so-humble opinion they are head and shoulders above anything else out there currently. I'm sure others have favorites, but you can't deny the talent in this band.

Here's a niice little (12 minute) documentary on their last album "Songlines" released (I think) in '06. New album out in January!



As a bonus, here's a performance of Derek with his wife - Massachusetts own Susan Tedeschi (phenomenal in her own right!) - covering Bob Dylan's "It's Alright."
