Summer is a time for fun in the sun, but sometimes that fun is hard to come by. If you’re not lucky enough to live near a beach or a lake, sometimes you have to improvise. Luckily, all you need for a great afternoon of summer fun is a hill, some water, and about 150 feet of plastic tarp to build an awesome slip n’ slide. Well, this looks like fun: It’s the “world’s widest slip and slide,” in a man-made reservoir in Hawaii. Holy moly, this looks like the best way to spend an afternoon. Just me, my friends, our bodyboards, some dish soap to cut down on friction, and a staggeringly beautiful (though clearly off-limits) tropical location. Ah, youth:

This video shows a crazy man launching himself off an epically-large water slide and landing perfectly in a kiddie pool very far away from it. Is it fake? I suspect so, but I really want it to be real.

The site that explains the stunt is all in German, save one vague video in English. Can any German-speakers decipher this and determine its validity? Please don't dash my dreams. If this is a viral ad for adult diapers or something I'm going to be really disappointed. Although it would be a great way to sell something that helps adults cope with shitting their pants, no?
