It's good to see that our men and women overseas can let loose from time to time. Even if it is lip-syncing to Britney Spears. Not exactly the song you'd expect America's finest to perform, but we won't fault them. Maybe they are in the middle of "Operation Britney?" The plan is to play her music incredibly loud, in order to smoke Bin Laden out of that cave for just long enough to put one lousy bullet in that motherless bastard's head. The video is below:
Britney Spears is 29 years old, which isn’t really old at all, even for a pop star. And yet much of the talk surrounding her two new videos, “Hold It Against Me” and “Till the World Ends,” and especially her live performances on Good Morning America and Jimmy Kimmel has centered around the erosion of her once formidable dance skills. Now, Girlfriend has been through an awful lot since “…Baby One More Time” seared eyeballs in 1999: marriage(s), divorce, kids, custody battles, public humiliations, corrosive scrutiny, ugly power-plays over control of her very being, and more. We can only imagine the toll that takes on someone’s psyche, no less their body. (UPDATE: She also suffered a knee injury back in 2004, which could be a contributing factor to her onstage woodenness, although it doesn’t explain that far-away look in her eyes.) And while our name isn’t Dr. Drew, we would not be surprised to learn that Britney’s motor skills have been downgraded by a prescription cocktail of psyschopharmaceuticals that have helped her reach some place of inner contentedness, maybe even happiness. Her new album is great, she’s dating someone who doesn’t seem to be pure evil, and she’s starting her tour in Sacramento on June 17. We will go see her, of course (come with!), but we’re more than a little uneasy about whether or not she’s capable of handling the athletic challenges of a 21st-century arena show. Maybe her fans don’t care; they’re just glad she’s upright and making awesome dance-pop and ohmygoditsbritney! But watch this video of Britney then vs. Britney now—inspired by the legendary 2002 nightclub dance-off between Britney and ex Justin Timberlake—and see if you don’t get a little sad/concerned when you realize that “then” is less than ten years ago.
Sultry and half-clothed on the cover of V Magazine, Britney Spears declares, "The b***h is back and better than ever!" The fierce pop singer, whose seventh studio album, 'Femme Fatale,' lands March 29, talks openly about her album, boys and fame, adding that she has moved past the media scrutiny that plagued parts of her career.
"I try to block it all out and not pay attention to anything they write about me in the magazines or online. I'm done with that," Spears told V Magazine. "I have learned to always stay true to myself and never let what other people say about me change who I am. It's a really important lesson that took me a long time to learn."
On her new album: I think 'Femme Fatale' speaks for itself... I wanted to make a fierce dance record where each song makes you want to get up and move your body in a different way. That's what I want from the music I listen to. This record is for the clubs, or something you play before you go out at night. It's definitely my edgiest and most mature sound yet.
Why she's more guarded about her personal life: I think it's easier to let people in when you're younger, but when I became a mother I wanted more privacy for myself and my children.
On her talents and interests that might surprise people: I love to cook, especially for my boys. I also make a mean Southern sweet tea from a recipe my mom passed on to me. It's really good. I love it. I make it for my boys all the time.
What she'd do if she gave up show businesses: I'd be a full-time mom, which would be cool. I'd miss my fans and all of the love the most, but I definitely would not miss having my picture taken everywhere I go.
Recently, Quentin Tarantino declared that the forgotten Jason Biggs comedy Anything Else was one of the twenty best films he’d seen since he first became a filmmaker. It was a bold statement, to be sure; still, we should have assumed that the perennially over-the-top filmmaker would be capable of going himself one better. Now, by releasing a playlist of songs that inspired him while making Inglourious Basterds, Tarantino may have done just that.
Tarantino debuted the list this weekend on the Sirius channel Little Steven’s Underground Garage, and also used his two-hour special to tell personal anecdotes about each song and, randomly, to bash The Matrix Reloaded. Here’s the lineup:
· Wu Tang Clan - “The Rulez” · KT Tunstall - “Hold On” · Bob Dylan - “Political World” · Barbra Streisand - “Stony End” · Andy Kim - “Lay A Little Lovin’ On Me” · Sir Douglas Quintet - “Mendocino” · David Bowie - “Cat People (Putting Out The Fire)” · Jay Z - “S. Carter” · Roy Orbison - “There Won’t Be Many Coming Home” · Jason Mraz - “I’m Yours (Acoustic)” · Maroon 5 - “Wake Up Call” · Steve Poltz - “Waterfalls” · Britney Spears - “My Prerogative”
Perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised that the noted American Idol superfan carries a torch for the mainstream pop of Spears and Mraz, but to see those selections nestled so close to the Bowie song that actually made it into Basterds conjures up an alternate version of the film to go along with its alternate history: Basterds’ suspenseful, Nazi-killing climax, set to Britney’s yelping remake of Bobby Brown.
Who said Britney Spears was the only one in her family who could dance? Check out the video above where you can see that Britney's sons Sean Preston and Jayden James have some toddler moves for her hit song "Toxic". Cute business, enjoy!
Britney Spears kicked off her Circus tour in her home state of Louisiana at the New Orleans Arena before a nearly sold-out crowd
Britney didn't interact much with the crowd - the only thing she uttered to the audience was "Thank you, New Orleans" at the end of the nearly two-hour show - and she appeared at times to be lip-synching

Britney started the show with the title track to her new CD, Circus, wearing a short red and black ringmaster ensemble

She then launched into Piece of Me, which she performed largely from a cage, continuing the circus theme

In the past five years, Britney has gone through more tumult than many endure in a lifetime: she's been married and divorced, had two kids, gone to rehab, gone through a custody battle and found herself briefly committed

But the release of the album Circus has been seen as a return to form of sorts for the singer. It has sold more than 1.3 million copies

SEX TAPE star PARIS HILTON claims she has only had "a couple" of sexual partners.
The heiress is one of Hollywood's most notorious party girls and is rarely seen without a bloke on her arm.
In recent years she has been engaged to model JASON SHAW and Greek shipping heir PARIS LATSIS, dated BACKSTREET BOY NICK CARTER, film producer RICK SALOMON and a second Greek shipping heir, STAVROS NIARCHOS III.
Plus, she ended her nine-month relationship with GOOD CHARLOTTE rocker BENJI MADDEN in November.
But Paris is adamant she has only ever slept with "a couple" of men, one of which must have been Salomon - the man who featured in her infamous X-rated home video.
See a slideshow of Paris and some of the men she's been pictured with by clicking on the link below.
Paris told Glamour magazine: "I've only ever done it with a couple of people.
"People make up stories, but mostly I just kiss. I think it's important to play hard to get.
"Nobody wants the fake Prada bag - they want the brand new bag that no one can get and is the most expensive.
"If you give it up to a guy he won't respect you. He'll want you much more if he can't have you."
Since starring in US TV show The Simple Life alongside best friend NICOLE RICHIE, Paris has become one of the most photographed women in the world.
Boob job
Indeed, every aspect of her appearance is heavily scrutinised - none more so than her cleavage.
Paris regularly fends off rumours she's had a boob job, stemming from pictures of her in busty outfits.
Here, she attempts to put the record straight - again.
Paris explains: "First of all, I'm really scared of needles, plus I like looking natural and flat chested.
"When I was younger I was obsessed with wearing padded bras and stuff, but as I get older I realise that I like myself the way I am."
The reality star's relationships with her fellow Hollywood starlets is another hot topic in Tinsel Town.
Her feud with on/off best pal Nicole made plenty of headlines, as did her friendship with BRITNEY SPEARS before the singer's much publicised breakdown.
However her spat with LINDSAY LOHAN was the most fierce after she labelled the Mean Girls star a "firecrotch".
People magazine says that Jamie Spears just got a big raise to continue his role as conservator to Britney’s estate, which means he has legal control over all of her assets and finances. Not only did he get a raise, but the judge made it retroactive, meaning he’ll get a nice bonus check. All for getting Britney to act like a normal human being. You may be thinking that the simple act of NOT fucking up shouldn’t be enough to get someone a huge raise, but keep in mind this is Britney we’re talking about.
On Monday, a Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner boosted by an additional $51,000 the elder Spears's payment for acting as his daughter's conservator, the Associated Press reports. Since February, Jamie, 56, has been looking after Britney, 27, to the tune of $10,000 a month. Court Commissioner Reva Goetz has now raised his fee to about $16,000 a month – and made the pay retroactive. Jamie was also granted an additional $1,200 a month for office expenses, which Goetz said was justified by the fact that Britney's personal and professional life – her new CD Circus recently debuted at No. 1 – now appear to be back on track.
Damn. 206,400 dollars a year just to be a parent. This may explain why he did such a shity job as a parent up until last year. He was holding out for more money. Checkmate, Britney.
Britney and Ellen DeGeneres went Christmas caroling around LA, and hold on to your funny bones because Ellen is in top form as she spreads the magic of laughter. If you like the first three times Ellen makes a joke about singing in a low and/or high pitch, you’ll clap with glee the eighth and ninth time she does it. And then, just as you’re catching your breath after howling with laughter, there’s a hilarious mix-up as Ellen confuses “a wreath” and "Aretha”. Hahaha, they really do sound similar!
Never in a million years did I think Britney could look this hot again. Naked chicks are just so much better than unnaked chicks. All you bitches with clothes on, what is your problem. What is your deal. Why you gotta be all stuck-up? words by Durden http://www.wwtdd.com

All you art collectors out there. Here is a chance to get a Giclee copy of some of Ian M Sherwin work. Ian is planning on doing a whole series of Marblehead, Massachusetts paintings. His work is amazing.
