Okay, it was only a 0.6-second exposure, I adjusted the settings on shore and then ran in, put the tripod between some rocks, got the shot, and ran. It took many attempts to get it right. This is not the sprouting horn nor Queen's bath. And yes, one slip and I would have been sucked into the hole, with the entrance being 20 feet above sea level. I doubt I would have survived!
