Rick Wagoner will complete last leg of D.C. Drive in a Volt

With no private fleet of jets at his disposal, General Motors CEO Rick Wagoner will be finishing his drive to Washington D.C. tomorrow in a Chevrolet Volt test mule. Although essentially a Volt, the prototype wears Chevrolet Cruze body panels. Prior to his arrival on Capitol Hill, Wagoner will begin the journey in Detroit while piloting a Chevrolet Malibu hybrid to his hotel. If all goes as planned, he'll then jump into the Volt tester where he will meet press and interested parties outside of the Russell Senate Building. A full public speech by the GM chief and several Volt show cars are slated to be on display.
