Alfa 8C up on Ebay!

Earlier this week we brought you news of the first Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione delivered to a U.S. customer. Now one of the 84 sports cars destined for the States has already popped up on eBay. This rare example of Italian elegance has a current bid of $200,000. At that price it is still below the reserve and well below its $292,985 base price. However, a lot could happen in the auction's remaining seven days. The car's options include the "Competizione" red metallic paint, full twisted leather trim, Schedoni matching luggage set, carbon kit, Alfa shields, Premium Bose stereo with iPod connection, a car cover, and floormats. The 8C marks Alfa first return to the U.S. market place since 1995. It is possibly the most beautiful two-seat GT on the market. It shares a platform with the Maserati Gran Turismo and its 4.7-liter V-8 is similar to the sweet sounding units in the Gran Turismo S and Ferrari F430. Source: eBay
