You're looking at the C3R Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, a revised Corvette design study by Christian Cyrulewski. Based on a C6 Corvette, the car is still in the design stages, but is headed for limited production and a debut at the Woodward Cruise in Detroit next year. The C3R is actually four inches longer than a stock C6 Corvette, with slightly narrower bodywork, styled as an homage to the C3 generation 'Vette. Also in the works is a C3R that uses visual cues from the '69 427 Corvette, including a unique hood and side-mounted exhaust pipes. As you might expect, that C3R will have a 427 cubic inch engine, in this case borrowed from Katech. We last heard from Katech when it released its Air Attach LS7 Supercharged crate engine putting out 750 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque. |
