Idora Jack Rabbit
Welcome to the new and improved before and after section. This was most recently updated in 2007, but will contain some of the same comparisons as the original... such as the first group you see here... the Idora Park Jack Rabbit. The Jack Rabbit was built in 1910 by the TM Harden Co, and was later altered in the 1930's to increase the length. The cars were turned around to make it the Back Wabbit as pictured here sometime during the 1980s. Finally the coster was torn down in 2001 following a fire at the ballroom. This was 17 years after the park's closing, and 91 years after it was built.
