AMG Sports Package for 2010 E-Class

Chismillionaire hates this whoring out of the badge. Sell the complete car or nothing. One man, One engine=AMG. Not side skirts and a front apron . This type of thing and making AMG models of M class and R class SUV's is what has caused the near ruination of the AMG badge. They have had to create the Black Series line now because that is what the AMG used to be instead of country club fat guys in an S63 and menopausal women pulling up to Nieman's valet in an ML63 AMG

2010 AMG Mercedes-Benz E-Class Sedan

AFFALTERBACH, Germany — When the redesigned 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan goes on sale in Europe in March, buyers will be able to opt for a new AMG sports package priced from $3,775-$5,245, depending on engine and trim level.

The sports package bundles an AMG front apron with large air intakes, side skirts and a rear apron, as well as polished stainless-steel tailpipes.

AMG is also providing new 18-inch light alloy wheels painted sterling silver with 245/40R18 tires in front and 265/35R18s in the rear. Additional hardware upgrades include perforated brake discs, silver-painted brake calipers and a Direct Control suspension that's been lowered by 0.6 inch.

The E-Class cockpit gets the AMG treatment, too, with a three-spoke sport steering wheel, paddle shifters (on automatic-transmission models), a sport pedal cluster in brushed stainless steel with rubber studs, and specially upholstered front sport bucket seats.

Inside Line says: A poor-man's AMG — without the extra power boost — for European customers. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
